the worst thing you can say to someone is ‘you’re too sensitive’ because that’s basically saying ‘you feel things more deeply and fully than i do and this inconveniences me because now i have to be more mindful of my own actions’

you’re not too sensitive, the world is just callous and stubborn. sensitivity doesn’t make you weak and callousness doesn’t make you strong.

There once was a man. A happy man who lived a happy life in the happiest world. But he felt something was missing. A hole in his heart that couldn’t be filled. One day, on his way to a happy day at work, he saw a homeless beggar, waggling a finger at him. He approached the beggar, and the beggar handed him a key.
"This key is a very special key. Once you find the door it unlocks, you will have everything you will ever need. A perfect woman, perfect household, perfect family. I have been there many, MANY times and have been satisfied with what I have found. They gave me food, shelter and happiness. Pleasure. All when the man of the house was away. You look like you need a get away, so take it."
The beggar walked away without another word, leaving the man to his own. He held the key, and with his greed he walked away. Away from work, away from family, all to find what door it unlocked. In a month, he lost his job. Within 5, he had lost his family. Within a year, he had lost everything. But still he looked, hoping to find the door it unlocked. But never did he find it.
He went back to his old household one day, tired and sad, and he looked on to the dilapidated house in the corner of the street. His house. He saw the door. And got curious. He walked up to the door, hand shaking, and put in the key.
To his dismay, it clicked.

In the 7th grade I had a class where we took a personality test and then we were separated into groups based on our results and my group was just me and two girls and our personality type was described as “mystical” and then one of the girls got expelled for huffing Axe in the bathroom and the other dropped out of high school and disappeared off the face of the Earth.

You’re next.

Oh my God, I won’t read your favorite book.

How am I supposed to survive

When all the lines will be your voice?

It’s just another piece of you inside of me.

You don’t mean it

But this is no mutually beneficial

Symbiotic relationship

You live inside of me,

Tearing me apart

You’ll start in my stomach

And finish with my heart

My lungs are just another innocent bystander of your wake

I’ll start the recovery while you’re still near

It’s much easier to purge you

With you fresh in my veins

After you’re gone

-And I’m losing my familiarity,

How am I to tell what is me

And what is you?

I could cut out my own presence

So now I must start

And oh my God, I will not read

Your favorite book
